We are launching a completely new set of national JSNA indicators, provided by the Eastern Region Public Health Authority (ERPHO). These indicators fall into the five broad JSNA categories as follows:
- Social and environmental context
- Lifestyle and risk factors
- Burden of ill-health
These indicators have been derived using existing health data sets, but allow users to drill down from local authority and PCT level to smaller geographic areas and cut across the above JSNA domains.
The JSNA indicators are surfaced through the NASCIS analytical processing tool. This tool allows flexible analysis of the indicators, enabling users to benchmark and compare the data by time series and geographic area.
