Central Register of Collections

The Central Register of Assessed Collections is a web-based searchable tool that holds details of all Data Coordination Board (DCB) approved data collections. You will find a description of the collection, period of collection including end date, frequency of collection, method of collection and details of the requesting organisation. The Central Register is currently under development and is temporarily unavailable. In the meantime, you can view a list of all current DCB, Standardisation Committee for Care Information (SCCI) and Information Standards Board (ISB) standards and collections. The list is updated on a monthly basis, following the approval of new items, and changes, by the DCB.

Potential collection owners should check the collection register for existing collections in order to prevent duplication before completing a Burden Assessment application form. The form is also currently temporarily unavailable due to a system redevelopment. However, an offline copy of this application form is available by contacting the Data Standards and Assurance Service via standards.assurance@nhs.net
