Collection Referral Service

The Collection Referral Service offers a confidential way for data providers to refer data collections they feel might benefit from further scrutiny.

Collections referred to the service will receive an objective evaluation, looking at quality, suitability and value to the health and social care system.

Join our consultation panel

The consultation panel enables data providers and front-line staff to have their say in how data collections are developed.

When the Burden Advice and Assessment Service (BAAS) receives a new data collection, data providers are asked to validate the estimated level of burden that the data collection will introduce. The service works with data providers to look for ways to minimise burden.

Consultation findings are fed directly back to collection owners and the Standardisation Committee for Care Information (SCCI) which oversees the development, assurance and approval of information standards, data collections and data extractions.

You can join the consultation panel by completing the consultation panel registration form.
