Latest statistics on NHS immunisations available

23 September 2015: Latest statistics on NHS immunisations are released today by the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC).

*Regional information is available within this report

Today's report, NHS Immunisation Statistics, England - 2014-15, shows statistics related to routine childhood vaccinations, which are offered to all children at specified ages2. Data on adult and childhood seasonal flu vaccines are also included in today's report for the first time.

For most vaccinations, the number of children or adults vaccinated as a proportion of the eligible population (coverage) is reported. Information is included for each vaccination by England region, local authority and NHS Area Team, as well as overall immunisation statistics by UK country.

The report gives details on routine childhood vaccinations including DTaP/IPV/Hib - the "5 in 1" vaccine3, Meningococcal group C (MenC)4 and the Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccine.

Information on the influenza vaccine shows coverage among adults aged 65 and over and among children aged two, three and four years.
