Summary

22-09-2016 – Please note that the GP patient survey (GPPS) data files have been updated. The historic deprivation breakdowns calculated using 2010 Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) scores have been reinstated. An additional version of the 2015/16 indicator data has been added; this has now been calculated using both 2010 and 2015 IMD scores to show the scale of difference between the results. The September commentary discusses these differences.

The original August commentary and data files are also included on this page. They provide information about the indicators updated in the August release and a list of these indicators is included in the key facts section.

The NHS Outcomes Framework (NHS OF) is a set of indicators developed by the Department of Health to monitor the health outcomes of adults and children in England. The framework provides an overview of how the NHS is performing.
