Consultation on General Pharmaceutical Services in England Publication

The HSCIC are very grateful to the six people/organisations who responded to the consultation. The comments provided by them reveal that this publication has a range of users whose needs' we will continue to consider when making decisions about its future.
What is this consultation?
This consultation invites responses on our proposed development of the output and presentation of the annual General Pharmaceutical Services in England publication.
Why are we having this consultation?
We are consulting users following changes to the NHS from 1 April 2013, and with the introduction of new NHS (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2012 from 1 September 2012.
We want to ensure that the publication continues to be relevant and meaningful to the people who use it, and that we are meeting their information needs in the best and most cost-effective way. Your comments will be considered against resource pressures.
Summary of consultation
We propose to amend the way in which some data is presented, to introduce new content and to retire old content. You are invited to contribute to this consultation by reviewing the appropriate documents and completing the questions presented. We also invite comment on any issue not presented.
When will the report be published?
The next annual General Pharmaceutical Services publication will be published in November 2014.

This consultation process is open to anyone - whether as an individual or representing an organisation. If you could also provide contact details (name, email address, organisation) this will also allow us to follow-up with any questions that arise from your response.
The closing date for the consultation is 31 January 2014.
